Today Austin went on his first tractor ride. This year was easy...but I bet next year will be a different story! I bet he'll be more willing to help.

Yesterday I suited up Austin and we tried out our new front carrier. He loved it...probably because he was being held. How can he already be spoiled? Anyway, we took Moxie out so she could throw up the A&D ointment that she got a hold of, watered the plants and fed Kitty. (Yes, it's name is Kitty (don't tell Brian I named it) and our barn cat will actually let us pet it now!!) We topped the outing off with swinging on our porch swing. It was such a beautiful evening. We were only missing 1 thing, Daddy. He was busy harvesting. I happened to look over and we had 2 packages by the front door. Grandma and Grandpa had sent us a RAMS jersey (man is Brian going to really dislike this one!). We also got some new outfits from Aunt Sarah and Uncle Bryan. What a nice surprise. I think the fresh air got to our little guy because he was out!

Last night was our 1st night waiting for Daddy to get home! Daddy found Austin relaxing on the couch. I thought for sure he was in a deep sleep! He heard Daddy's voice and did a 'one eye peek' just to make sure it was really him. It was too cute! I overheard Brian telling him that sometimes he pretends to be asleep too.
Today we were busy!! Austin had a visitor all the way from Nebraska!! Leslie was in town for the Grand Opening of Schnuck's. We got to go to lunch and catch up! It's been awhile!! We had a great time and hope she and Matt can come back in October!! We sure miss them.
We also went to the Bank to see some friends that we hadn't seen in awhile. I bet Kim wishes she still worked at MSBT...well maybe...

We went to Highland for the weekend to see the Spies family! A weekend in Highland is never complete though unless the ENTIRE family is there. So we were lucky enough to see Granny, Papa, Aunt Brandi and Justin too! On Saturday morning, Austin went to his very first 2 soccer games. Ross and Jenna did a great job! During the game Justin wanted to lay with Austin in his stroller to snuggle and give some lovin'. This made Aunt Laura a little nervous!! Later that day we invited Easton over to see his cousins. What a cute bunch of kids!
Mom was a little sad when Sunday she realized that Austin's newborn diapers no longer fit...BUT would love to mention that his newborn onesies still do! He's still my LITTLE baby!! He also smiled at his Granny and once at Ross when Ross told him it looked like his brains were popping out the side of his head when he made a certain face! Those boys!! We're going to have our hands full one day soon. Looks like the little man might have his Daddy's dimples.
Daddy was sure glad when we finally got back on Sunday. He really missed his baby...and wife too! We gave Austin his first bath and Daddy got in lots of snuggle time! He couldn't believe how much Austin had changed in the 2 days that we were gone!
Oh yes, and I have to mention that our 'little whizzer', as his Daddy calls him whizzed on his Papa and Daddy this weekend! He's got quite the shot!
