Visit with GG

We haven't been able to visit GG lately so we made time this morning. She and Austin had a snack together. It was such a nice visit! He loves going to her house.

This is how I found Austin this morning.

Rough Week

We've had a rough week since vacation. Austin has gone from sleeping all night in his bed from the moment we put him in there to not sleeping through the night and screaming for 2 to 3 hours EVERY night. It's been torture!! We don't want to start the habit of putting him in our bed even though we know that's exactly what he wants! We just don't have room for another body in a full size. After dinner each night he's been disappearing upstairs. He knows he's not supposed to have his paci and blanket out of his room. But...tonight I found him all snuggled down in our bed with both! He was so content.

Visiting Aunt Laura's

Ross came to stay with his Aunt & Uncle for several days...so of course I roped into a photo session. I think he secretly enjoyed it. He even started coming up with different spots to get a good shot! This little guy is growing up so fast. I can't believe he'll be 9. He shares his birthday with Brian & I's anniversary.

Prayer Plant

We've had a lot going on lately so I've been staying up late trying to get some things done. As I was headed up to bed my 'prayer plant' caught my attention. My parents came to visit and went to Church with us several months back and got this as a gift. My Mom let me keep it and I've actually be able to keep it alive. It gets its name because at night and in the early morning its leaves turn in like they're praying. I haven't ever noticed it doing that so I thought mine was confused. But I saw it the other night and it really struck home with me.

Ropp Cheese

We were able to meet up with our Summer Play Group today at Ropp Cheese Factory. It was a lot of fun. We got to see how they make cheese and even sample some that was already made. Here they were seperating the curds and whey.

Then Ross got to milk a cow. He even got milk to come out!


Austin was all about bottle feeding the baby calf. He was very brave today! After the milk was all gone he carried the bottle around and tried to feed the other animals.

Buddies

Jaiden came over to play today while her Mommy had an appointment in town. These 2 are like twins. They are starting to even sound the same! They were waiting patiently for me to get their lunch prepared. They have such a fun time together!
