Austin Shane went home with my Dad today! It wasn't planned...which is probably why I let him go! Dad has been here working here again this week and headed back home to get Mom and come back tomorrow....which is another reason I let him go. Austin was so excited to go 'bye-bye in Papa's truck'. I told him that I wasn't going so he kissed and hugged me...that hurt! We headed upstairs to pack his bag. He could hardly stand still. He was SO excited, while I had a huge lump in my throat. I tried to send Moxie instead...but Dad wouldn't go for that. So after calling and discussing with Brian-Brian came home and we kissed our baby and away he went-smiling and waving! I cried...and to be honest...Brian wasn't far off. He came home from work that evening and announced he didn't like coming home to Austin not being here. We decided to make the best of it and went to dinner...kind of like a date. We had a wonderful night together-just the 2 of us! What a treat! From the phone calls back and forth with my parents, Austin didn't seem to mind his time away. He had a ball! When they finally arrived back Friday evening, he was very excited to see us both!
