Happy 4th Of July!!

WOW!  What a day FULL of fun, sun, family and fireworks!
We started off the morning early over at my parents house on the Lake.
Dad took Mason right away on a jet ski ride.  He wasn't too sure of it at first and likes to call them 'bikes'.  If you tell him different he says, 'no, bikes'.

Austin wanted to go next and of course loved it and had the need for speed!

Austin and Justin quickly moved on to swimming and the water slide!

Last year....

This year...I love to see how all the kids have changed!
Cousins!!

Justin and Austin

Ross, Justin and Austin

Ross and Mason

Mason and Josie.  She loves him so much and calls him 'baby Mason'.

1st cousins...

My cousin, sisters and I!
I'm the designated 'fat sister' this Summer!  ;)

The little bambino!

My baby is learning to ski!
He did so great!

We came back to the condo for dinner and to take the boats out for fireworks on the water.  We love this tradition!

With the Cook family too!

It's a race for the kids to get down to the dock first.  The Cobalt is designated the 'cool boat'.
Uncle Brian got to take the big kids on the Cobalt.

I got the younger kiddos on the pontoon boat.  I was stocked with snacks and glow sticks.  The kids were in heaven!

I loved looking at all the boots waiting for fireworks.  It was a sea of lights!

This picture does not to it justice but the moon coming up tonight was gorgeous!
There was a full moon last night.

We should all sleep well tonight!  We've had an amazing day full of wonderful memories!

Lots of family!

Today the Cooks arrived for our annual 4th of July festivities!
My other sister and her family came over this morning for the day as well.
We took the boats and headed to lunch at Larry's on the Lake.

Mason and Aunt Brandi along for the boat ride.

Aunt Brandi treated the kids to dessert after lunch.  They had to eat it super quick because it melted instantly!

We headed back for naps, swimming and then supper.  The kids love to eat outside at their little table.
Bennett, Mason, Caroline and Austin.

Mason found a cup of chocolate sweets and headed outside with it.
Of course this heat and chocolate equals a huge mess!
Ross found Mason an absolute mess!
He came in and said, 'wash hand peese'.

We headed to get ice cream at the gas dock but they closed early.
Miraculously no one cried so we headed back to swim some more!

A few years back Austin started this thing where you put your thumb up and beep when you go under the bridge.  Now everyone does it, including Mason.  It's so funny because Mason gets his thumbs ready way in advance!

Austin and Ross like to jump off the dock and swim to shore when we get back.

Mason doesn't like to be left out.  He wanted to swim to shore too.

Bennett and Mason were waiting for the boys to make it to shore.

Mason was sad he couldn't get in the water.  I know the picture is really blurry but his face was priceless!

We got in the pool and played around and to cool off.
Our niece Jenna!

Austin wouldn't open his eyes for me or put his goggles on!

Mason refuses to close his eyes, even when he jumps in!

In the water to survive

It's been over 100 so to survive you have to been in the water!

Ross and his buddies!

Mason is really enjoying the Puppy Chow!

The were busy shucking our sweet corn.  We've had some for dinner every night.  It's a summer time favorite for us for sure!

Mason's new phrase is 'Watch Out'.  He likes to jump in the pool by himself and not have anyone catch him.  He's such a little fish!

At the Lake

We celebrated Dalton's 6th birthday and Calem's 4th birthday last night and then made a really late trip to the lake.  The boys slept part of the way and we arrived at 11:30.  The boys ran around for a bit when we got there and then we all went to bed before the Spies family arrived.

We were all excited to get out on the Lake this morning.
My boys were so glad to see Ross.

All 3 of my kiddos.  :)
With this heat I sure am glad this extra weight is temporary!!

We headed to Miller's Landing for 'breakfast' but it was closer to lunch by the time we got our food.  The kids did great with the long wait.  I had to wait inside, this heat is miserable!!

Dalton & Calem's Birthday Party

This afternoon we celebrated Dalton's 6th birthday and Calem's 4th birthday with the family.  The boys had so much fun running around and playing together.

Snow cones were the perfect treat in this sweltering heat!  Mason wasn't a big fan of them, though.

5 Little Kruger Boys!

The 2 littlest having fun too.
