Busy day!

We were up bright and early this morning.  I headed to town to take photos this morning and the boys played at Aunt B's.  They were quite busy while I was away.  My sister thought her window needed cleaned.  Of course then Mason couldn't keep his hands off of it.  He wanted to make sure I didn't get to far away from him.  He had so much fun while I was gone though.

It was really hot and humid today so the kids played in the pool until it was lunch time.  Justin had baseball practice so Austin and Aunt B went to watch and then they along with Uncle Jamie went fishing at the Lake.  Austin caught the first fish.  He had a lot of fun.

I stayed back with the littles while they napped.  We headed in to Granny's and then to the park while we were waiting for the fishermen to get home.

After supper we went to enjoy some Dari Ripple!  I have been craving this ice cream!

I thought my sister ordered Josie's in a cup so I said-just order the same thing!  Opps, Mason didn't mind.  He scarfed down his first ice cream cone with no problems.

We were all ready for bed tonight!

Fun at Aunt B's

We headed to Pittsfield this weekend to spend time with family and take some photos.
We left right after lunch and the boys tried their best to nap on the way.  They were too excited to get there to do much sleeping!  We arrived at 2:30 and enjoyed some fresh cinnamon rolls that Granny had made us.  We played for a bit, went to see Great Papa Wilder in the hospital then headed to Aunt B's.  The kids didn't waste anytime playing!

Mr. Serious aka Justin.

Just had his dog out walking it.  This photo makes me laugh because the dogs tongue is out and looks to be headed right for Mason's toosh!

I saw Austin and Justin carrying this kennel around the corner.
All I can say is 'POOR DOG'.

We were busy making supper and Mason some how found the sandbox.  I tried really hard to remind him that he didn't like the sand...remember Florida Mason.  It didn't work.  He and Josie both got a bath before supper!  They had so much fun and were so filthy!

So what does she think 'it' is?

I think I need to clear something up. I got a lot of texts and emails today about the gender of the baby. I know without a shadow of doubt this baby is a BOY! I could have gone either way with the first two but this one I know is a boy. I wish we could say we were finding out in 2 weeks at the sonogram, but Brian doesn't want to.

Children's Discovery Museum

My friend asked if we wanted to meet them at the Discovery Museum.  We don't take advantage of this place often enough.  Mason has never been!  They had a blast!

Laugh if you want but Austin loves dressing like Mason.  He typically requests it!  I wonder how long this will last?  I was all for it today.  I expected the place to be busy with end of the year field trips.  It wasn't too bad.  We got there as the bulk of them were leaving.

Mason was in awe at all there was to look at.  Austin was off and running!  His favorite floor of course is the ag floor.  Nothing has changed there!

We grabbed lunch at Fireside.  The kids were so tired but we had a fun lunch.  This smallest too make me laugh-they were ready for naps!

It's so humid that I brought out the water table for the boys.  They had so much fun splashing around.  They thought it was pretty cool to not have shirts on.

Mason has this tongue thing that we just noticed tonight.  He likes to have his tongue out while 'working'.

After dinner Austin sat out everyone's chairs.  I'm not sure why-I guess that's what he's seen us do a time or two.  We enjoyed the evening watching the boys play.

It started out cute and friendly...but ended with...

a mad wittle brudder running for safety!  haha

Awana Celebration

This morning while Austin was at school Mason and I played outside.
I just love this little monkey's brown eyes!

He's very social...waving to the truck passing by...like a 1/4 mile down on the road.

Here he's blowing me a kiss!  I just love those juicy lips!

After naps and some disappointing news we decided to start Austin's Awana Celebration a little earlier.  We headed to Moe's for dinner.  We didn't know but they have free kids meals on Wednesdays!  Score!  Austin was giving me a 2 thumbs up.  They even had a balloon guy, the kids were in heaven.  I was too with the salty chips.  I can't get enough!

Austin got to bring his family to Awana tonight.  They did 3 pledges: to the flag, to the Awana flag and to the Bible.  He did a great job.  They had little Cubbie ears on.  They were pretty cute!  They sang a few songs and then Austin received his Award.  We had snacks afterwards.  He loved going to Cubbies this year!

Austin and I worked really hard on learning his verses.  He nailed them all.  I couldn't believe how quickly he picked up on them!

Firepit

Austin couldn't wait to go outside this afternoon after his nap.  There was so much mud to play in.  He declared that he was going to make a fire...a pretend one.  I looked out and this is what I saw.  Pretty creative little guy, I think!
